scanjet 3300C (HP) + windows XP

Post by BOOMerang » 18 Jan 2003 17:26

NOT!))

I'd to be clear with this trouble (sj3300C and XP) :
To install the full software you must first download and SAVE on your HDD the file sj650en.exe at http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/sw ... 0c+scanner.
Once the file is saved, you unzip it, that create a file on the root drive named sj650.
You open this file and click on the setup.exe.
The scanner must be unplug from USB port!!
After Precision scan installed, you shutdown computer, plug scan and restart. New hardware found ==> sj3300C.
Launch Precision scan and if you have an error 2117, then you must download the sj509mu.exe at
http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/sw ... 0c+scanner.
Once the file is saved, you unzip it, that create a file on the root drive named sj509ERR,You open this file and click on the setup.exe.
Restart computer and try again. And if after all that when you want to make scan the scan stays on warmup lamp, you must download the sj512en.exe
Once the file is saved, you unzip it, that create a file on the root drive named sj512slp.
You open this file and click on the setup.exe.
Restart and know your scanner must work properly.
That's all folks!
